Alexander Oboznov
Alexander Oboznov graduated from the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University and is a Doctor of Psychological Sciences, a professor and Head of the Laboratory of Engineering Psychology and Ergonomics at the Institute of Psychology RAS. He is also a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Rights in Aerospace Systems.
In 1978, Mr. Oboznov was awarded a Degree Candidate of Psychological Sciences by the Dissertation Council of the USSR Academy of Sciences Institute of Psychology. He also gained a Doctor of Psychology Degree from the Higher Certifying Commission in 2004.
Mr. Oboznov’s principal scientific and practical specialties include the psychology of work, engineering psychology and ergonomics. He undertakes unique research in user activity in specific and extreme conditions of the working environment. These results are contained within the dynamic situational concept of mental activity regulation as implemented and established in aircraft usability.
Oboznov has developed and teaches a course entitled «Psychology of Labor» and a special course «The Psychological Foundations of Counseling and Professional Consultation». He has published 52 scientific papers throughout his distinguished career.
